This piece explores the fragmented reflections of identity through the metaphor of a mirror. Each vertical form represents a version of the subject; some bold and defined, others fading, dissolving, or distorted. Though the shapes diminish and blur, the presence of the subject remains constant, quietly anchoring the composition.
The mirrored lower half doesn’t simply replicate; it refracts. It suggests memory, perception, and emotional residue. The ink drips and splatters evoke the instability of self-image, while the layered textures hint at the complexity of being seen, both by oneself and by others.
